Gas Networks Ireland Opens Second Round of Natural Gas Vehicle Fund
Gas Networks Ireland has opened its second round of the Compressed Natural Gas Vehicle Fund. Argentina Approves Major Import Tariff Reduction for Natural Gas Powered Trucks
The Government of Argentina has reduced to between 2% and 5% the importation tariffs for trucks powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and biogas/biomethane, and associated components, through Decree 440/2019 as published in the Official Gazette. The Decree brings into effect the ‘Thirty-eighth Additional Protocol’ pertaining to Argentine Standard Agreement No. 00014/2008, which set the previous tariff at 35%. Read more »

Global Energy Ventures Ltd (GEV), the leading developer of global integrated marine compressed natural gas (CNG) projects, says it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore, Ltd (CIMC Raffles) to build CNG-powered ‘CNG Optimum’ 200 ships. Estonia’s Largest CNG Filling Station Opens in Tartu
Estonia’s largest CNG (compressed natural gas) filling station with 48 refuelling units will be opened this week in the eastern city of Tartu, to serve the city’s new public transportation fleet of CNG-powered buses.
