
New Seat Mii - CNG option planned for 2012
Spanish automobile manufacturer Seat SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the German Volkswagen Group, will market a compressed natural gas (CNG) version of the new Seat Mii next year. Seat Fan Club reports the head of Seat Product Development, Fermin Someira as saying the small utility vehicle will provide fuel cost savings of 20% and a range of 1000 kms. Seat is confident the introduction of the CNG model will stimulate refuelling infrastructure growth. Price EUR 8,700 (USD 11,830).
