Ryder System, Inc., a leader in commercial fleet management in North America, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions has been named one of the “Top Green Providers” by Food Logistics for the fifth consecutive year.Ryder is a leader in natural gas vehicles (NGV) solutions for the commercial transportation industry, with more than 90 million miles of experience, 21 NGV maintenance facilities, and more than 5,500 NGV-trained maintenance and support personnel.

The Company also operates Liquefied to Compressed Natural Gas (LCNG) fuel stations at its Fontana and Orange, Calif., service locations where Ryder has partnered with Clean Energy Fuels to offer renewable natural gas, the cleanest fuel available today.

Using fuel supplied by Clean Energy Fuels Corp., Ryder System, Inc. elected to switch the fuel at their stations in Orange and Fontana, California to Redeem™ renewable natural gas (RNG), referred to internationally as biomethane.

Food Logistics’ annual “Top Green Providers” list recognizes companies whose products, services, or exemplary leadership is enhancing sustainability within the food and beverage industry.
