NefAZ PTC, a subsidiary of KamAZ, has delivered a batch of low-floor NEFAZ buses powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia. The city acquired 25 low-floor large capacity buses, model NEFAZ 5299-40-51. New buses will begin to serve the city’s routes in the near future.
The passenger capacity of the NEFAZ-5299 bus is 100 people, including 28 seats. Buses are equipped with air conditioning, heaters, anti-slip flooring, route indicators, automatic stop recognition system, as well as video cameras with the possibility of remote online viewing.
This is the first delivery of NEFAZ passenger buses to the city of Rostov-on-Don. A further 100 CNG passenger buses will be purchased in March this year, helping to modernise the city’s fleet and comply with it’s goal to acquire environmentally friendly, safe and economical transport.
The bus supplier was OOO GRIFON, the official dealer of PJSC KAMAZ in the Southern Federal District.
