The OMAL valves for CNG applications are represented by the following 2 Series of Ball Valves:
— MAGNUM Series: Ball Valves WAFER type – flanged PN40 / ANSI150 / ANSI300
— HERCULES Series: HIGH PRESSURE Ball Valves – threaded BSP and NPT – up to 500 bar / 7000 psi
These series of valves are used for installation on CNG Compressors (both MAGNUM and HERCULES) and CNG Dispensers (HERCULES Series only)

Omal SM1 (carbon)
MAGNUM Ball valves are actuated with OMAL pneumatic actuators and the “complete package” is certified SIL3 and ATEX; both Valves and Actuators are entirely manufactured in our manufacturing facilities in Italy; Omal is therefore able to ensure and guarantee the complete traceability of the construction materials and manufacturing processes.
For Omal the Excellence of their own product comes from the design finalized to ensure the maximum reliability and safety of the OMAL valves and actuators, fully in compliance with the following International Standards and International Approvals required in these applications:

OMAL has developed a complete set of HIGH PRESSURE VALVES valves, called “HERCULES Series”, specifically designed for the CNG (Compressed Natural Gas, commonly known as CNG) for application in CNG Dispensers for refueling vehicles in which is required a ‘high cyclicality, reliability and durability for such valves; all requirements are fully satisfied by OMAL test Omal its own HERCULES Series.
The new HERCULES Series consists of threaded ball valves (Gas and NPT) with a rating up to 500 bar / 7000 psi, both for carbon steel and in stainless steel versions.
For the seats to be used in HERCULES series, Omal has developed internally in his own Laboratories and as well produced internally (by injection molding) their own “polyammide compounds” called: EXTREME (for sealing ball), POWERAMMIDE and MASTERAMMIDE (for stem bushings ).
The HERCULES series can be equipped with either Actuators Double Acting or Single Acting according to the customer’s application requirements; HERCULES Series have the Antistatic Device (for ATEX certificate on request) and Fire Safe DESIGN.
It ‘s also available in a “basic” Manual version, with lever.
All production processes in OMAL are performed according to Quality System certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 and in accordance with the requirements of the environmental certification ISO14001.
