The first daughter station in Mexico was inaugurated on October 2016, located in Morelia, the capital of the central Mexican state of Michoacán. The daughter station marks the first installation of SAFE compressor equipment in Mexico, a country that is moving swiftly to embrace natural gas for transportation.
The station is equipped with an SF series SAFE compressor capable of emptying the trailer to a minimum of four bar, which consequently reduces transportation costs. Also supplied were the dispensers and accessories.
The SAFE SF series compressor system has a performance of between 1000 and 4000 sm3h with an average power consumption of 80kw, much lower than the average consumption of traditional daughter station systems. The compressor is capable of refuelling more than 60 vehicles per hour.
