B 200 Natural Gas Drive on display at NGVA Europe’s event in Gothenburg, June 2013
Mercedes-Benz is presenting the taxi version of the B 200 Natural Gas Drive at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. The low fuel costs of this model with natural gas drive and spacious interior make it an ideal vehicle for taxi use.
The Mercedes B 200 Natural Gas Drive boasts a reduction in CO2 emissions of more than 16 percent, markedly cleaner exhaust gases than with petrol or diesel fuel and fuel costs which are some 50 percent lower than those for a comparable petrol-engine model.
When running on natural gas, the fuel consumption of the 115 kW (156 hp) B 200 Natural Gas Drive stands at 4.2 kg/100 km – corresponding to CO2 emissions of 117 g per kilometre.
The taxi version will be available from 2014.
