In what it says is a response to customer demand, Mack Trucks is now offering natural gas-powered versions of its Mack® Pinnacle™ models with Eaton UltraShift PLUS automatic transmission. Equipped with the Cummins Westport ISX12 G natural gas engine, Mack Pinnacle models can run on either compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The maintenance-free aftertreatment system, combined with low-cost natural gas, reduces vehicle lifecycle costs and thereby improves customers’ return on investment.
