Gazel, a Latin American fuel supplier which has operated under its own brand in Peru since early 2013 company, has opened its 23rd Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling station in the country. Located in the Surquillo district of Lima, Masur Gazel Station extends coverage in a central area of Lima to serve more customers.
Gazel now has presence in 16 districts of Lima and the province of Chincha to Lima’s south.
According to the Peruvian Association for Natural Gas Vehicles (CPGNV), of which Gazel is a member, Peru has a natural gas vehicle fleet of more than 170 thousand NGVs at the end of 2013, serviced by 227 filling stations. The highest density of NGVs is in Lima.
