BC Transit Cuts Carbon Footprint with More CNG New Flyer Buses

BC Transit XN40 XcelsiorBC Transit, a crown corporation in British Columbia responsible for coordinating the delivery of public transportation outside Greater Vancouver, has placed an order with New Flyer Industries Canada ULC (New Flyer) for eight Xcelsior® compressed natural gas (CNG) forty-foot, heavy-duty transit buses.

The new buses will further reduce transport-related emissions in the BC cities of Whistler, Kamloops and Nanaimo, where past CNG buses have already been allocated.
