Honda's 2012 Civic Concept will have the natural gas powertrain.
American Honda Motor Co., Inc, has introduced it’s 2012 Honda Civic concept model at a press conference this week, confirming the inclusion of the natural gas powertrain amongst the range of options. Continuing production at the Honda plant in Greensburg, Indiana, Honda reiterated that the Civic GX operates with close to zero emissions and is the industry’s only natural-gas powered passenger car assembled in the country. “Retail customers across the U.S. will be able to buy the GX as we expand sales from four states to nationwide,” said John Mendel, Executive Vice President, American Honda.
