US State Department Launches NGV Station Project

June 8, 2006

USA, Washington DC

A lack of refueling stations in Washington, D.C. has resulted in
the U.S. State Department forming a joint venture with nearby Arlington
County to expand CNG availability for its NGV fleet.

A senior State Department operations official says the decision
demonstrates the need for increased availability of alternative fuels
within the District of Columbia, especially as agencies deploy much
larger AFV fleets to comply with Energy Policy Act of 1992.  The State
Department also expressed serious interest in purchasing several Honda
Natural Gas Civics, which operations officials have already test
driven.  For more information, contact Rich Kolodziej art 202/824-7366
