Tripura Natural Gas Company Limited (TNGCL) has issued tender notices for the purchase and supply of skid mounted gas driven CNG Compressor Packages for dispensing CNG to vehicles in Agartala. The expansion of CNG services in the city includes a move by Agartala to bring back buses for public transportation, reportedly for the first time in 22 years. The transit system will commence with the acquisition of 70 CNG buses.
(TNGCL) is a joint venture company of M/s GAIL (India) Limited, Govt. of Tripura and Govt. of Assam. TNGCL has been set up to distribute CNG to commercial vehicles through filling stations and PNG to household / commercial sectors including setting up of CNG filling stations with its infrastructure in Agartala.
