Tough Australian Market Orders More CAP Dual-Fuel Systems

June 18, 2008

Australia Perth

Clean Air Power Limited, the developer of Dual-Fuelâ„¢ combustion technology that enables heavy-duty diesel engines to run on a combination of both diesel and natural gas, is pleased to announce that it has won another important order in Australia for 10 systems. The Australian truck market is one of the most demanding in the world with very heavy vehicle weights and extreme ambient temperatures. Mitchell Corp Australia Pty Ltd (Mitchell), a bulk logistics solutions provider, has ordered 10 systems worth approximately US$1 million for delivery during 2008. This brings the total Mitchell revenue from these orders to around US$5.75 million.

In January 2007, the Company announced a significant order when Mitchell ordered 50 systems worth a total of approximately US$3 million. That contract also included an option for a further 20 systems and in September 2007 this option was taken up, with the installation of the conversions now almost completed.

Another significant order has also been received by Clean Air Power’s Emissions Treatment division based in Houston, USA. This is for approx US$230,000 and delivery is planned for September 2008. The Emissions division is also in the process of delivering a previously announced US$1 million order.

John Pettitt, CEO, commented “Mitchell’s commitment to natural gas will save around 15,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.”
