Tide Rolling In for CNG Vehicle Fuel

November 17, 2008

USA, Austin

An Austin service company, Fox Service Co., is planning to fuel the growth of an alternative energy source in Central Texas. It has already begun installing compressed natural gas refueling stations for residences and businesses, in an apparent response to improved CNG vehicle technology and availability. “We saw the tide was coming,” George Stuckey, director of marketing and sales for Fox Service, says of the company’s decision to become a dealer of the filling stations. “I think the time has come for it to be considered a viable option, and we wanted to be part of that.” As a multitrade service provider (air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems) the company believes the installation of CNG filling stations will dovetail well with current services.
