In the National Capital Territory (NCT) of India, which includes New Delhi (the capital of India), Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and other cities and towns, drivers of natural gas vehicles have until June 1st to meet new compliance requirements. If vehicles do not display authorised compliance plates, no fuel will be dispensed. The cylinder differs from the lightweight composite CNG cylinder certified in 2010, using Dow’s composite resin technology together with HiPer-tex glass fiber from 3B. The toughened epoxy systems from Dow enables production of lightweight and durable composite cylinders with improved impact resistance, dynamic fatigue and low-temperature performance.

Greenkraft, Inc., a manufacturer of alternative fuel systems for use in transportation applications, reports California Air Resources Board and EPA certification of its 2013 dedicated-compressed natural (CNG) gas fuel system for 6.0-liter General Motors engines for 14,000 and above GVRW trucks and custom chassis manufacturers. “The certifications are especially important because several states have either adopted or are in the process of adopting California’s emissions standards said Frank Ziegler, Director of Sales”.
