South American NGV Activity Helps Gas Natural SDG to Increased Profits

Strong natural gas vehicle (NGV) activity has contributed to a 39% increase in earnings before tax for 2005 in Latin American operations for Spanish natural gas distributor, Gas Natural SDG. The company says sales of compressed natural gas (CNG) were particularly strong in southern Sao Paulo, Brazil and Colombia, where conversions reached a record 1,900 per month.
