On May 13, the city of Prague held their “Grand Opening” of the city’s largest self-service CNG station which is also the third largest station in Central Europe. Bonett Bohemia, the exclusive representative of IMW Industries Ltd and Kraus Global, designed and constructed this site for Prazska Plynarenska, the main natural gas provider in Prague. The CNG station has two compressors with a total capacity of 1228 Nm3/hr, ground storage of 1,540 Nm3 at 275 bar, one double hose dispenser for light duty vehicles and two bus dispensers with filling at 70 kg/min. The CNG station will fill 50 new Mercedes-Benz NGT Econic heavy-duty vehicles of Prazske Sluzby, the main supplier for street cleaning services in Prague.
Bonett Bohemia also designed the first fuel management system, for this site, that allow not only the use of company authorized cards, and credit cards but also cash. The fuel management system, through the touch-screen, allows for the user to read the instructions in Czech, English, German, and Slovak languages; other languages such as Russian are also available.
