Increasing
opportunities in the Asia region have led Italian refuelling provider
SAFE to establish an office in Singapore. The office, opened last week
represents the third joint venture for Safe outside of Italy, with a
fourth international office also established in Brazil.

Speaking at the ANGVA 2005 exhibition, Paolo Guardigli, Safe Export
Manager, said the Singapore office will represent Safe throughout Asia,
excluding China and India, where the company already has more than 80
and 100 installations operational respectively. Guardigli says the
company also has more than 200 installations operating in Pakistan and
Bangladesh but is expecting new opportunities in Malaysia, Indonesia,
Thailand and Myanmar in coming months.

Established in 1973, Safe designs and manufactures its own equipment,
and currently has more than 1300 compressors and 1500 dispensers
operational worldwide. The company is currently in the process of
establishing a 24 hour global call centre service.
