Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc., an alternative energy company, has secured a new purchase contract from Hi-tec Fuel & Auto Ltd, a Canadian natural gas vehicle integrator, to supply a series of natural gas vehicle tanks for light duty trucks. The contract confirms Quantum‘s view that momentum is growing in North America for natural gas vehicles. Tim Dykes, Hi-tec’s president, said “For over 21 years, Hi-tec Fuel has led the Canadian market with over 1,600 conversions and an unflawed safety record.”
