IVECO Delivers Natural Gas Vision to G7 Transport Ministers’ Meeting

Wärtsilä Dual-fuel Engines for Four Thun Chemical Tankers

Sustainable tanker will feature Wärtsilä technology.

Wärtsilä Corporation has been contracted to supply propulsion and fuel supply solutions for four new tanker vessels for coastal tanker operator Thun Tankers, part of Erik Thun AB, of Sweden. Fitted with dual-fuel engines, the vessels will use Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and diesel to meet their energy requirements. Ordered in October 2016, the vessels are being build by Scheepswerf Ferus Smit yard in the Netherlands. Read more »

MAN Dual-Fuel Engines Ordered for LNG Tanker NewBuilds

Knutsen OAS Shipping, an integrated shipping company headquartered in Haugesund, Norway, has ordered 4 × MAN B&W 5G70ME-GI engines with EGR systems in connection with the construction of two 180,000 m3 LNG tanker newbuildings. Upon delivery in 2020, the vessels will transport cargoes worldwide for two Spanish utility companies. Read more »

Nashville Airport Earns Environmental Stewardship Award for CNG Fleet

Rosneft and HSHI Join to Build Green Aframax Tankers

Trillium CNG Opens P-3 CNG Station in York, PA

The new facility is the second public CNG station Love’s Trillium CNG designed, built and maintains for numerous transit authorities in Pennsylvania as part of a public-private partnership (P-3) PennDOT awarded to the company last year. Portugal’s Council of Ministers has published Decree/Law 60:2017, promulgated on June 8, that creates the policy environment to set in place a national framework for the implementation of alternative fuel networks across the country. linking with its European neighbours. This Decree-Law, which transposes Directive 2014/94/EU into the national legal order, reflects Portugal’s commitment to the objectives of the European Union in this area. NGV Provisions Discussed at UNECE GRPE Meeting in Geneva
