2010 National NGV Conference-Summit – Boston, Massachusetts – August 12th-14th
REGISTER AND BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION NOW
Hosted by NGVAmerica, the 2010 National NGV Conference-Summit is looming. Themed NGVs: Revolutionizing America’s Transportation, the event uses what NGVAmerica describes as the devastating environmental, economic and national energy security consequences of America’s reliance on oil to set the scene for illustrating solutions offered by the domestic and international natural gas vehicle (NGV) industry. The industry is leading a revolution of fleet operators, policy makers and consumers, by offering a reliable proven solution that uses America’s abundant natural gas resource to generate jobs, improve air quality, reduce costs and – as a gaseous fuel – pave the way to even cleaner future hydrogen-based transportation technologies.
The event immediately precedes a joint exposition hosted by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the American Public Works Association (APWA), at which NGVAmerica has coordinated a 12,500 square foot NGV Zone featuring more than 40 natural gas vehicles, equipment and service vendors. The joint expo at the adjacent Conference & Exposition Center (BCEC) is expected to attract 8,000 attendees from the refuse, recycling, landfill management and government public works sectors. NGVAmerica is coordinating with the two groups to co-host social functions and other educational outreach activities.
