NGV Global and alternative fuels trade journal, Fleets&Fuels shared facilities at Rome’s Fiera del Roma exhibition complex this week, to bring you news arising out of IANGV’s biannual event. Here are some of the highlights from Fleets&Fuels coverage, available at the ShowTimesDaily blog.

• Melchers of Singapore’s 1,000-unit Toyota taxi upfit project using Xperion Alpha CNG cylinders, made in Germany,  is being extended to the replacement of Type I tanks in customers’ older cabs.

• Oasis Engineering of New Zealand is introducing FV100 series fill valves, employing a “unique valve concept”.

• India’s Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd is reportedly planning two plants in Gujurat state with a combined capacity of 0.5 million CNG cylinders per year.

• Longtime propane-LPG fuel tank supplier Stako of Poland is promoting a new line of lightweight CNG cylinders.

• The UK arm of Gilbarco Veeder-Root, head-quartered in the USA, made its first-ever appearance at an NGV exhibition, confirming its recent commitment to enter the alternative fuel market for fuel dispensers.
