Fiat's New Doblo Natural Power produces 134 g/km CO2 emissions.
Fiat has released brief details of its 2010 model New Doblò Natural Power, first announced in November 2009. The seven seater vehicle combines a CNG/petrol bi-fuel supply system and a 1.4 16v T-JET Euro 5 engine, to reach a top speed of 172 km/h and produces 134 g/km CO2 emissions. Fiat says a full tank (16.2 kg) costs 14 euros (USD 18.20); at current fuel prices it will cost 25 euros (USD 32.50) to travel 600 km (about the distance from Milan to Rome), compared to 60 euros (USD 78.00) for the same distance on petrol – a saving of well over 50%.
The Doblò meets access requirements for zones with ecological traffic restrictions, boarding ferries and using underground car parks.
Available in Active, Dynamic and Emotion versions, the New Doblò Natural Power has the same boot capacity as previous versions because the cylinders are positioned under the floor panel. It has a mixed cycle range equal to 330 km on methane, to which you can add another 300 km on petrol for a total of 630 km.
