The Econic NGT on display in Cancun
Mercedes-Benz (MB) showcased its Econic NGT (Natural Gas Technology) at the recent 16th UN Climate Conference in Cancun. MB says the vehicle is set to play an important role in waste collection for Mexico City, which is driving a strong environmental improvement project under the leadership of mayor Marcelo Ebrard. The city is looking to emulate other cities around the world that have set about reducing harmful emissions by the utilization of alternative drive vehicles and harnessing biomethane from waste.
