Malaysia’s KTD Plans Annual Bus Replacement to Build CNG Numbers

Malaysia’s Konsortium Transnasional Bhd (KTB), Malaysia’s largest public bus operator, has adopted an annual bus replacement program that will see between 200-300 buses replaced annually. The move will assist the company meet safety and international standards, as well as help to build the number of CNG buses in its fleet. Executive director Tengku Hasmadi Tengku Hashim said the move will introduce natural gas (NGV) powered buses which are more economical and environment friendly, in a Bernama report.
