LNG Fueling Contract for City of Fresno Municipal Refuse Fleet

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has been awarded a contract to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the City of Fresno, California municipal refuse fleet for up to five years, expanding a fueling relationship begun in 2004. The Fresno municipal refuse fleet now comprises 80 natural gas trucks and the city has ordered 22 additional natural gas trucks, making it the largest municipal liquefied natural gas refuse fleet in California’s Central valley and second largest in California. Fresno is the 6th largest city in California.
