Kunlun Energy's model CNG Station is officially opened.
Hongkong-based Kunlun Energy Company Limited, a subsidiary of PetroChina, has carried out an award and ribbon cutting ceremony for its new national model for compressed natural gas service stations, in Longquan, Chengdu. Guo Yongxiang, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of People’s Congress of Sichuan Province, and Li Hualin, the vice president of PetroChina Company Limited attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Longquan national CNG model refueling stationhas been established in accordance with the Natural Gas Vehicle Operation Trial and Technology Assessment in Sichuang Province program under the energy-saving and new energy vehicle “863” plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC, with daily production capacity of 50,000 cubic meters.
This standard pipeline station carries the functions of a master station as well as a CNG refuelling station. It also acts as a training center for CNG refuelling to meet both the CNG vehicle refuelling requirements in Longquanyi District and Chengdu, and CNG professional training and education.
It is regarded as a high standard model compressed natural gas refueling station. The energy-saving and environmentally friendly station is featured with ‘innovative and advanced technologies’ for efficient operation. The completion of the station plays an active role in the promotion and use of gas fuel vehicles in the future.
