Kosmo Motor Co has reported export orders for the company’s compressed
natural gas (CNG) buses to Peru. Business Times reports that the
company expects to dispatch 15 buses to Peru in the first quarter of
2007, with potential orders of 1,000 a year for the next ten years.
Kosmo commenced manufacture of CNG buses earlier this year (see NGV Global story) and is currently pursuing orders locally and in other Asian, South American and Middle Eastern countries.
A company spokesperson said the company plans to appoint distributors
in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Iran, and other prospective markets.
