* Detail of Item 5 on the Agenda.
1. European certification of HD gas engines (or vehicles) using dual fuel technology. Power, regulated emissions, and CO2 emissions should not pose any problems, but fuel consumption (normally calculated on the basis of CO2,CO, and HC emissions) needs some work – either actual measurements of the volumes of gas and diesel respectively, or such measurements used to provide a ratio between gas and diesel, and then traditional calculations where a certain percentage is calculated on the basis of gas consumed, the balance on the basis of diesel consumed.
2. Standards and regulations concerning LNG cylinders used in HD vehicles
3. Standards and regulations concerning so called L-CNG refuelling stations equipped with NGV-1 and NGV-2 CNG connectors, and also connectors for refuelling of LNG into HD vehicles
4. Standards and regulations concerning tank trailer transportation of LNG
5. Standards and regulations concerning cryogenic purification and condensation of landfill gas or biogas into pure liquefoed biomethane (also including d:o for simultaneosly separated CO2)
6. Standards and regulations concerning liquefaction of high pressure gas drawn from the natural gas grid
7. Standards and regulations concerning LNG transfers from bulk storage to tank trailers. All work should where relevant encompass not only natural gas but also biomethane with a composition inside the limits set for natural gas.
8. Possible need for standards and regulations covering biomethane produced via gasification of cellulosic biomass. There should, in principle, be no need for special fuel standards as long as the produced gas fall inside the limits valid for natural gas.
