Iran Khodro Releases Euro 4 Turbo Charged Samand

The Middle East’s largest automaker, Iran Khodro (IKCO), has unveiled a new compressed natural gas (CNG) gasoline bi-fuel four-door sedan, a 1700cc turbocharged Samand Soren ELX. The engine produces 150 horsepower. with Euro 4 emissions which IKCO says will allow the company to enter European the market. The vehicle is to be commercially available soon. IKCO says the vehicle can travel to 2,000 meters above sea level without loss of performance, reportedly the first Iranian made CNG car to do so.
