November 24, 2011 | Iran

IKCO Runna

Iranian automotive manufacturer IKCO’s new fuel-efficient EF4 engine will enter mass production in 2012. Two versions have been developed, for gasoline and for compressed natural gas. IKCO says the EF4 is the only Iranian engine that meets Euro 5 standards.  It aims to produce 25 thousand Runnas (an Iranian designed passenger car) with EF4 engines next year, rising to 100 thousand units per annum within three years.
