Greenfield Compression to Build US Presence

June 29, 2010 | USA, Richardson TX

Greenfield Compression, a Richardson, Texas-based member of the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking to claim a greater share of the emerging natural gas vehicle market in the US with the appointment of Mr. Jacky Joas as Global Sales and Marketing Manager. In this newly created role, Joas will focus on the U.S. market, sharing his time between the Greenfield operations in Texas and Greenfield’s global headquarters in Switzerland. Joas has spent the last 25 years working with industrial gas market customers across a broad spectrum of countries.

Vocational Energy in Tampa, Fla., recently took delivery of a Greenfield BBR CNG compressor package –  a new small-footprint product for the US market — which was developed in conjunction with an Atlas Copco subsidiary, Intermech in New Zealand. Greenfield designs, manufactures and supplies high-pressure compressor systems and specializes in compressing gases including Hydrogen (H2) and Methane (CH4), and says the unit took only five months to design and deliver.
