Fiat Natural Power Vans Come With Free Green Gas in Netherlands

March 26, 2011 | Source: Bouwmateerial.nl | Netherlands

Fiat Doblo Cargo Bestel Maxi SX 1.4 T-Jet Natural Power, Euro-5 compliant.

In the Netherlands Fiat Natural Power vans are being offered at the same price as diesel models and with free green gas (biomethane) in collaboration with regional gas supplier OrangeGas, for the first 10,000 km. The incentives are in parallel with development of the natural gas refuelling network across the country, where there were 56 CNG stations at end of 2010, up 10% over 2009. Bouwmateerial.nl reports that number is expected to grow to 100 by end of 2011. Additionally, a further grant of EUR 3,000 (USD 4,240) will be available under the decree “Experimental Sustainable Mobility Grant program run on higher blends of biofuels and biogas” from July 1.
