 Brian Stokes
Brian, who was the manager of Emissions Reduction Energy Services for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), was among the NGV industry’s most dedicated and effective leaders. He not only oversaw and directed PG&E’s impressive NGV effort, but was also a national spokesman for the NGV industry – especially on technology-related issues. For years, he served as chairman of the NGV Coalition’s (and then the Clean Vehicle Education Foundation’s) Technology Committee. Most recently, he represented PG&E on NGVAmerica’s Board and served as chairman of the CVEF. More than that, Brian was a kind and caring person and a great friend to many of us. He will be missed.
A memorial service is scheduled for June 1 in Pleasant Hill (11:30 a.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church, 199 Brandon Rd.). Brian's family has established a fund in his name at the American Cancer Society; donations can be sent to: American Cancer Society, 1885 Oak Park Blvd., Pleasant Hill, CA 93523.
