March of this year will mark NGV Global’s third birthday. In tandem with the primary www.iangv.org website we’ve got a number of new changes to look forward to this year. Now that we’ve breached the $100 per barrel oil milestone, the importance of methane as an alternative fuel has been reinforced.
- Classified (text based) advertising in NGV Global. While our
Marketplace section has served purpose to fill this gap, in the coming
months we will be installing a completely automated online system
allowing you to submit your industry notices online and reach our
continually growing NGV Global subscription base.
- A facelift for NGV Global. We’ll be making some cosmetic changes
to make NGV Global easier to read and also to allow us to take
advantage of online networking and referral sites. In particular, we
will be targeting alternative fuel sites and forums to ensure the
natural gas vehicle drum is heard around the world.
- RSS Feeds – Would you like to increase your search engine rankings
and profile in the industry. Search engines (and website visitors) love
fresh content so NGV Global headlines on your website could be just the
thing to generate more traffic. Once our facelift is complete, we’ll be
offering ‘free installation’ of our RSS feeds so your website can
automatically display industry headlines at no cost.
- OEM Vehicle Directory on www.iangv.org. The growth in OEM natural
gas vehicle and engine availability continues to please and interest
our readers and position natural gas as the most viable alternative
fuel in a host of locations around the world. We’ve almost completed an
online searchable database to help you find out what’s available
worldwide.
- Country Profile Section. To supplement our statistics database,
we’re developing an online encyclopedia that shares more than just
statistics and the current NGV status of any country. Where available,
we’ll include policy information, historical drivers, influences of
other alternative fuels and outline the key players in the industry.
This will become an important tool for stakeholders researching NGV
markets worldwide.
- Industry Directory. Despite technical delays, we do have an
industry directory in the wings and will make that publicly available
as soon as we are able to.
- Anything else? Is there anything you would like us to provide?
