The Asia-Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA) successfully held its 7th NGV School at Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea on Thursday April 26 and Friday April 27. The program was jointly hosted by ANGVA and KANGV (Korea Association of Natural Gas Vehicle).
More than 100 people attended the program making it the most successful NGV School held in Korea to date.
The two day program was opened with a congratulatory address by NGV School Dean Dr. Sung-joon Kim. Gangwon Province Director Mr. Boung-hun Ahn, Chuncheon City Director General Mr. Yong-ki Chung and KANGV President Mr. Jae-hyun Jung also made opening remarks.
The topics of the 7th ANGVA NGV School covered the following…
-Strategy and policy for popularising NGVs and NGV refuelling infrastructure
-On-site safety control of high pressure gas
-Effective refuelling related computer programming
-Principles of packing & piston rings for compressors
-Maintenance theory of standard parts of fuelling systems
The NGV School was honoured to be hosted by Korea’s premier educational institute, Seoul National University and extra special thanks goes Seoul National University’s Dept of Engineering for their support.
