NGV 2006 Presentations from the IANGV Biennial Conference & Exhibition, held in Cairo, Egypt, Nov 7-9 2006. These presentations (more than 50) bring the reader up to date with the latest industry developments, covering all aspects of the natural gas vehicle industry including Technology, Vehicle Conversions, Country Reports, Refuelling Technology, Economics and Financing of NGVs and Marketing, as well as general presentations from Plenary Sessions.
Gap Analysis of International NGV Standards & Regulations – January 2007
This study was authored by Dr Hien Ly and commissioned by the International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles to provide input into the ISO Roundtable on Gaseous Fuel Vehicles meeting on 10 January 2007.
The objective of the study is to identify the relevant international standards and regulations pertaining to NGVs, to compare them and identify key differences and to identify areas where there are currently no published international standards or regulations. The study report contains a commentary on the results of the investigation to assist other parties to decide on an appropriate course of action.
IANGV Gas Composition Effects Study
EFFECTS OF NATURAL GAS COMPOSITION VARIATIONS ON THE OPERATION, PERFORMANCE AND EXHAUST EMISSIONS OF NATURAL GAS -POWERED VEHICLES
Natural Gas Composition is affected by several variables - geographic source, seasonal variations, age and quality of pipelines, odorants, and even oil discharge from compressors. This in turn affects the performance and exhaust emissions of natural gas vehicles.
This 50 page report, prepared by Dr Hien Ly and published by IANGV (2002), explores several significant factors:
