NGVAmerica continues to get many questions on the tax credits included in the 2005 Energy and Transportation bill and has prepared a fact sheet on each of them. Specifically, the fact sheets cover the federal tax credits for: acquiring a natural gas vehicle; acquiring natural gas refueling equipment; and the use or sale of natural gas as a motor vehicle fuel. They include an overview of key points, information on the IRS’s guidance and links to additional helpful resources like the relevant IRS guidance and tax forms.

All the information in the fact sheets have previously been provided to all memberscompanies.  The fact sheets just provide it in easy to read summary form.  The fact sheets will be posted on the NGVAmerica website soon.
