NGVAmerica have announced that it will be hosting the 2007 National NGV Conference-Summit, themed “Making Waves: Amplifying Our Message - Maximizing Our Potential,” at the Atlantis Casino-Resort-Spa in Reno, Nevada October 14th-15th. Participants, which will include NGV industry executives, environmental advocates and transportation and air quality policymakers, will address how NGVs can play a greater role in meeting US energy diversity and air quality goals, and the steps our industry must undertake to make that happen.
The tentative NGV Conference-Summit program includes a Saturday,
October 13 pre-conference golf tourney, a Sunday October 14 afternoon
NGVAmerica Board of Directors meeting and Annual Meeting followed that
evening by the welcoming reception with invited guests. The
Conference-Summit will be held all day on Monday, October 15.
The NGV Conference-Summit will be held in conjunction with and will
immediately precede WasteCon, a major refuse industry conference and
expo hosted by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
At that conference/expo, NGVAmerica will be coordinating a major NGV
industry presence including a multi-booth NGV Zone, breakout session
and a pre-conference NGVs 101 Workshop. Invited WasteCon attendees
also will be joining us for our Sunday evening reception.
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this important event.
