US industry groups, the Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition (NGVC) and the
Clean Vehicle Education Foundation (CVEF), have agreed to a
redistribution of functions within the industry.
The changes were announced at last week’s 23rd Annual NGV Conference.
The NGVC, which has focused mainly on policy for the past two years
will resume responsibility for industry marketing & education while
the CVEF will focus on technical issues. Under the arrangement, the
CVEF will solicit funding on a per project basis, eliminating the need
for direct financial support from industry members.
