Philippines, Manila

The Philippines is one step closer to operating CNG buses on commercial
routes following the arrival of the first buses from China.

Philippine President, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo inaugurated the first of
the buses last week ahead of the official opening of CNG refuelling
facilities, expected some time next month. Six fleet operators will run
CNG buses on inter-city routes initially, all of them using Chinese
made buses powered by Cummins Westport engines.
