August 23, 2010 | Spain, Olaberria

Agas 21 serves CNG and LNG for heavy transport and public in northern Spain

In Spain’s northern province of Guipúzcoa (Basque Country), a new 24-hour natural gas service station has been opened under the name of Avia Gasogas. Agas 21, the company opening the facility, says it is the first public natural gas service station in the region to serve CNG and LNG for heavy vehicles, it is located in the municipality of Olaberria on the Autovia del Norte (North Highway).

The new facility will allow users to save between 30 and 35 percent compared to diesel and 50 percent compared to gasoline. Agas 21 has set a price of € 0.59 per m3 for this year.

Agas 21 represents Argentinean company Agira in Europe.
