CNG One Source Inc. of Pennsylvania has acquired Emission Solutions Inc of McKinney, Texas, a provider of natural gas vehicle technology for medium and heavy duty trucks. CNG One Source plans to bring additional benefits to market with its proprietary technology designs, which should lower the costs of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) engines and improve their performance. It has formed an alliance with LandiRenzo to offer Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversions on Isuzu NPR-HD Gas vehicles. Peruana de Combustibles SA (Pecsa) and Gazel, a subsidiary of Colombian company Promigas SAESP, have decided to divide up their compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel for vehicles business. The original partnership, set up in 2005, sold CNG under the name of Peruana de Gas Natural (PGN). A biznews report states that, under the terms of the agreement, Pesca will continue the operation of 22 CNG filling stations for natural gas vehicles using the PGN brand, while Gazel will sell CNG under its own name.
Greenlane Biogas, worldwide developer and supplier of technology for upgrading biogas to renewable biomethane for use in natural gas pipelines and/or vehicle fuel, has been restructured with a new ownership group. The company’s corporate structure has been streamlined and optimized to both enable new investment and to support the capital requirements for the substantial growth expected by the group over the next years. Greenlane will maintain its capabilities in the gas compression and heat exchange markets, which complement its biogas upgrading activities.
US energy supplier Fortistar and its new affiliate, TruStar Energy LLC, a compressed natural gas (CNG) infrastructure provider, has acquired a majority interest in Vocational Energy, a company involved in CNG fuel station engineering, design and construction. TruStar Energy will continue the existing construction business of Vocational Energy and expand into offering long term fuel supply agreements to companies wishing to convert their transportation fleets to CNG. (FLTI), a division of Frito-Lay which in turn is part of the PepsiCo Group, is seeking proposals from qualified heavy-duty compressed natural gas (CNG) station owners to design, construct, maintain, and commercially operate CNG refueling stations to supply committed volumes of CNG to heavy-duty trucks. EcoDual, LLC, a provider of diesel to natural gas dual-fuel conversion systems for heavy duty diesel powered trucks and The W. W. Williams Company, one of the USA’s largest industrial distribution, repair and service companies, have announced an arrangement under which W.W. Williams will serve as a master distributor for EcoDual’s dual-fuel conversion systems throughout North America. The EcoDual systems enable heavy duty diesel trucks to displace an average of 60-70% of their diesel fuel use with natural gas, providing significant fuel cost savings. Read more »
