Kerala Public Transport Prepares for CNG to Arrive

Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (KSIDC) and Gail Gas Ltd, Noida have formed a joint venture to develop natural gas vehicle refuelling infrastructure in the State, reports Hindu Business Online. The new company, Kerala Gail Gas Ltd (KGGL), will establish compressed natural gas (CNG) stations for Kerala State Road Transport Corporation  (KSRTC) buses. Initially, the stations will be set up in Kochi, on India’s south west coast.

Waste Management Contracts CNG Fueling Services

Clean Energy Fuels Corp., provider of natural gas fuel for transportation in North America, has signed an agreement with national refuse company Waste Management to provide maintenance and repair services for its compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations throughout the United States. Clean Energy also provides engineering and construction services, as well as compression equipment through its subsidiary, IMW Industries, at selected fueling stations.

Agreement Reached in Philippines for CNG Bus Fuel Supply

In the Philippines agreement has been reached between the government and the Malampaya consortium over the supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) for a fleet of up to 200 buses, reports The Manila Times. The consortium members include Shell Philippines Exploration B.V., Chevron Malampaya and Philippine National Oil Co. – Exploration Corp (PNOC-EC). The agreement, to run until 2018, will reportedly be signed November 3, says Omar Castillo, Philippine National Oil Co. Exploration Corp. vice president.

Swedish Biogas Enters Expansionary Phase
