State owned and operation petrol company YPFB Corporation has delivered two new compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations, at Ivirgarzama and Cercado in the Department of Cochabamba, central Bolivia, according to a Hidrocarburos Bolivia report. Both stations have a storage capacity of 1200 cubic meters. YPFB plans to have 53 service stations operating on major routes across the country by end of next year as part of a plan to strengthen CNG refueling infrastructure and create natural gas refueling corridors. Several stations have already been opened this year with more in planning or construction phases.
