xperion Introduces New X-STORE High Cube Container Module

| Germany, Kassel

xperion High Cube X-StoreGermany-based xperion Energy & Environment GmbH has introduced a new optimised container module, signifying what the company says is a “Revolution in Gas Transport”. This new High Cube container was developed in cooperation with gas transport systems company Wystrach GmbH. The module is ideally suited for efficient transport of compressed gases such as natural gas and hydrogen.

Developed out of feedback from the hundreds of X-STOREs already in operation, the new transport system is based on an ultra-lightweight carbon-composite cylinder with a water volume of 450L. Combined with an optimised container design, it enables the transport of a significantly higher volume of gas. The outcome is a transport system offering “the highest efficiency worldwide”.

A 40ft container of the new high cube series, offers a capacity of approximately 48,000 litres. Along with the 40ft module, the broad range of sizes includes containers from 10ft to 53ft, thus offering customers maximum selection and flexibility for their gas transportation needs. A key benefit is the customer’s ability to use a standard trailer chassis eliminating the risk of customized, expensive alternative solutions.

Higher gas transport volumes lead to significantly reduced operating costs for gas deliveries per truck. This minimizes the number of container modules required and the number of trips, resulting in lower operational costs.  Hence xperion provides its customers in the growing market of gas deliveries a commercial edge with each trip.

xperion Energy & Environment GmbH, an AVANCO Group company, is a manufacturer of Type 4 high pressure composite cylinders headquartered in Kassel, Germany.
