Gazprom Group company Vemex s.r.o operating within the Czech gas market, together with TVAJA CNG company, have commissioned a CNG fueling station in Cernokostelecka street in Prague. The station, currently undergoing testing, is the eighth in the Czech capital and opens up a new region of Prague to CNG refuelling. Vemex plans more CNG stations together with its partners, to meet the growing demand for this fuel in the Czech Republic.
The technology and implementation were realized by TVAJA CNG which will operate the station together with Vemex. The station is designed for daily capacity of 2000 m3 CNG, provided with a storage tank of 3300 litres and working pressure of 250 bar. Depending on demand, the capacity can be doubled.
The fueling is self-service, with CNG sold through TankOmat (tank automation system) that accepts payment cards and CNG-cards and is monitored online.
