Germany’s Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer earlier this month presented funding guidelines for subsidies for energy-efficient, low-carbon trucks using Compressed (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Through the BESTWay Project, an infrastructure initiative between Spain and France which is co-financed by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), Gas Natural Fenosa reports having completed 70% of a natural gas refuelling corridor from Algeciras, one of Europe’s largest ports, to Paris.
