ITUK Launches CNG Conversion Kit for India’s Scooters
Surat, a port city and economical capital of the Indian state of Gujarat, has witnessed the launch of ITUK Manufacturing India Limited’s Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) kit for two-wheeler vehicles this week. Choosing the Gujarat Gas Company Limited’s (GGCL) CNG filling station at Pal as the venue for the launch, ITUK officials described Surat as having the highest penetration of CNG-powered vehicles in the state. Two-Wheeler CNG Pilot Program Launched in India
A clean-air New Delhi, and thereafter other cities, is one step closer following the launch this week of a first-of-its-kind Pilot Programme in India to run two-wheelers on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Piaggio Ape CNG Reaches Indian Market
Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (PVPL), headquartered in Pune and a 100% subsidiary of Piaggio & C. Spa of Italy, has brought to the Indian automotive marketplace a new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered three-wheeler, named the Ape (ah-pay) City. Available in CNG/LPG and petrol versions, the Ape City is fitted with a Piaggio 200cc 3-valve engine. The CNG three-wheeler is priced at 1.25 lakh (USD 2,300).
